Yes B! GQ teamed up with Johnny B! As myself and Now Bonxxx Show our talent to hundreds of people on stage as Platform Artists at this months Hair Show Convention... We'll be able to put another skill under the business brand.. Not only do we cater to clients needs, and put on Fashion Runway Shows, or even donate our time to help fight cancer at the local Relay For Life 3 years in a row.. We are now getting more into the Hair Industry.. At a hair convention, a place where other fellow stylists, students and all that are intrested in hair come together. Yes, we are very much greatful for this opportunity.. And we will show all what skills we have. This is 2010 baby.. We've accomplished a lot and a lot even in this year, and its barley January!!!
Look out world... GQ CUTS is going places.. and we want to take you with us!!

GQ (GQ CUTS) & Q (FartboX Clothing) Team's Up to put on the Show

There were many people involved to put on the show! Bonxxx & RichB (GQ Cuts Crew), Momma Q who stiched the lose endse up.. Nat (Model Coordinator),Rafa Q (Food Set up), Paulina Rocha(Makeup Artist), Gilber Castillo (Photographer), DJ N/A (Nick Abita) made the runway mix, Pippi who altered the clothes... We have a great team. We were all excited to come to Hollywood and put this show on. Since the first time I've put on a show (Sept 2008) I've thought about taking the show specifically to Vanguard, Hollywood. As we continue to put on more shows we have been able to perfect our craft and create more opportunities for others.. This past show on Jan 15th was the best by far. We had an amazing Model Cast and a great staff on board.. Alothough the venue themselves could have taken a little more time to cater to our needs we delt with what we needed and put on an amazing show.. There is more to come in the future and cant wait to work with great people.. -GQ

So I can't wait.. gqcuts is going to show off our talent at "long beach hair show" as platform artists.. I've always wanted to be 1. And now I have the chance. Thenx gq!

Todays Runthrough for the show this FRIDAY went Great!!

All the casted models made it out to rehersal! They all looked great! And just from the practice runthrough.. This show is going to be really good! We have an amazing staff and great Models to have the opportunity to work with..

Came in the early morning!! Cleared out the clients for now...

Ehh!! Today coming in extra early wasn't such a bad idea. I needed to make sure my clients were taken care of because today I'm leaving the shop early to head to Vegas!! Eh! But... I'll be going just for one nite. I have to take care of business Sunday nite. We have the models coming for the Runway show and doing a runthrough before NEXT WEEKS SHOW!! Kinda excited! But this morning I also met a new client. Been in this area for some time and finally decided to give us a try. Turned out he loved the haircut! Turns out his resident Barber is literally around the corner from me.. I'm not trying to be a snake and steal clients but his Barber happend to be closed :)

GQ Cuts Crew's Mission Today

As we went to bed last nite all everyone at the shop could think about was the Hairstyles and the Intensity of crazyness at the shop the day of the Hairshow. I'm sure by now our 8th hairshow we're much calmer and definatly have more of a structure.. But its still exciting! We're going to work with the amazing Makeup artist (Paulina Rocha) and create a glamour look for each female model.. The clothing we'll alter to make much more edgy.. But todays goal, putting together the hairstyle ideas for each model! Ehh!! -GQ

Today

So today me and the GQ Cuts crew attempted to go over more hair styles for the upcoming show on Jan.15th. We got side tracked because more clients came in. Which is a good thing I would say.. Tomorrow is Friday and I'm excited the weekends here. Sad because I won't be at the shop the whole full weekend, but excited because we'll be in Vegas for Betos BDay!! I'm signing off for now! -GQ
